Basic Gun Safety

This course is 2.5 hours of classroom time.  Students will learn the Rules of Basic Gun Safety and why they are Necessary. Types of firearms, including Semi Auto Handguns, Revolvers, Rifles and Shotguns.  You will also learn sizes and types of ammunition. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of bullet types and why the correct ammunition is crucial to personal protection. Basic Gun Safety students will be handling firearms to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of technique and skills. The class will also cover loading and unloading. Dryfire practice, disassembly, reassembly, and cleaning. Child safety and storage.
